About AlphaScan
Short, sourced answers — each one stands on its own.
Are my documents uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF reader and the text recogniser run inside your browser. Files are never sent to AlphaDesk or anyone else, and nothing is stored except a fingerprint (hash) so AlphaScan can tell you if you check the same file again.
Can AlphaScan tell if a document is fake?
Not for certain — no software can from a copy. It looks for warning signs: survey numbers or registration numbers that don't agree across documents, files saved with editing apps or changed after they were made, risky words such as PTCL, kharab, injunction or acquisition, and missing registration. The only proof is a fresh certified copy from Kaveri Online, Bhoomi or the municipal office.
Which languages does it read?
English, Kannada and Hindi, including mixed documents and Kannada numerals. The report itself can be switched between English, Kannada and Hindi; the English text is the reference.
How accurate is the reading?
Digital PDFs are read exactly. Scans and photos go through text recognition and come with a readability score; numbers and names from low-scoring pages can be wrong, so the report shows the text it read for you to compare.
What should I do with the report?
Use it to ask the right questions, get the missing documents and verify at the official portals listed. Before paying an advance, have a property lawyer give a written title opinion — AlphaDesk's Legal Check does this.
